MediConnect needed patients to be able to register and book appointments online without calling the clinic. The mandate was a digital front door that was fast, accessible, and trustworthy enough for people managing their own care.
The existing portal had long registration forms, a confusing layout, and poor accessibility — so most patients gave up and phoned reception instead. That overwhelmed the front desk and quietly capped how many patients the clinic could serve.
